General Summary:
We are looking for a software engineer to implement and support the tools which enable IT Asset Management Services. You will be working as part of Regional Delivery Enablement team, which has staff located in many different countries within Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ). This team implements tools which are used by delivery staff to provide various services to HP outsourcing customers
Responsibilities:
-Install, Configure and Test HP OpenView Asset Centre(AC) Application
-Implement, Configure and Test Connect-IT based integrations between Asset Centre and other applications such as OpenView Service Centre and Radia
-Develop Connect-IT scenarios to integrate Asset Centre with other tools such as SMS
-Ongoing upgrades to Asset centre
-Implement Asset management Tools Solution for HP outsourcing customers
-Ongoing maintenance and support of Asset centre and all implemented integrations
Must Have Skills:
1) Experience in OpenView Asset centre tool as an enabler of overall asset mgmt service
2) Good understanding of Asset management processes and service
3) Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
4) Being able to work effectively as part of a virtual team
4) Problem Solving and Customer Support skills and experience
5) General IT skills including experience in working with UNIX and Windows servers, SQL and Oracle databases, Excel etc.
6) Strong coordination skills
Desirable Skills:
1) Implementation level experience with HP OpenView Service Centre as we might need to be L3 support for SRM tools.
2) Implementation level experience with Radia and/or other auto-discovery tools
3) Admin level experience with Oracle and/or SQL databases
4) Good solid understanding of Connect-IT scenarios and experience in implementing these.
6) Some Implementation level experience with HP OVSC as well (preferable)
7) A university degree in IT
